Carla Connor-Swain's fears for Sarah Platt grow in Coronation Street, prompting a big decision. Sarah hasn't been herself since being attacked, and boss Carla is starting to worry.
Sarah's Ordeal
On the night Theo Silverton died, Sarah was knocked unconscious by Jodie Ramsey after walking into No.8 and finding it trashed. She was found by Shona Platt, who called an ambulance. Shona assumed the men after Jodie had returned, unaware Jodie caused the damage. Jodie later lied about being kidnapped, leaving Sarah unsettled.
Carla's Concern
Colleague Fiz Stape warns Carla that Sarah has lost her confidence. When Carla suggests Michael Bailey take on some of Sarah's work, she takes offence. Later, Sarah makes a mistake on an order, and Michael covers for her. Sarah loses her temper, and Carla urges her to take time off, then finds her drunk in the Rovers.
Carla's Decision
At the end of the week, Carla calls Sarah into the office and reveals she's leaving Michael in charge of a new contract. She orders Sarah to take time off, pointing out she's not herself. Will time away help Sarah come to terms with her attack?
