Nat Sciver-Brunt out of next two World Cup matches with calf strain
Sciver-Brunt to miss two World Cup games

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt will miss at least the next two matches of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup after sustaining a left calf muscle strain. The injury occurred while she was batting against Ireland in Southampton on Tuesday.

A scan on Wednesday confirmed the strain, which is in a similar location to a previous injury. The England medical team has ruled her out of the upcoming group stage fixtures against Scotland and West Indies.

Sciver-Brunt will remain with the squad for rehabilitation and will be continuously monitored. Vice-captain Charlie Dean will take over the captaincy for the next two matches.
