Harry Kane, the 32-year-old England captain, celebrated his two goals against DR Congo in the World Cup with a kiss from his wife Kate Goodland. Off the pitch, Kane is a devoted family man with Kate and their four children.
How Harry Kane and Kate Goodland Met
Kane and Goodland are childhood sweethearts who attended Larkswood Primary School in east London together. They later went to Chingford Foundation School, where David Beckham also studied. An old school photo shows the pair meeting Beckham as teenagers. In 2017, Kane told the Evening Standard: 'If I was single now and meeting people, you'd never know if they were with you for the right reasons. Is it the money? You'd never really know. So I'm lucky that I've got a childhood sweetheart.'
Marriage and Children
The couple married in June 2019 at an undisclosed location. Goodland wrote on Instagram: 'I married my soul mate, one of the best days of my life! Thank you for making my dreams come true, you are perfect.' They have four children: daughters Ivy (born 2017) and Vivienne (born 2018), and sons Louis (born 2020) and Henry (born 2023). Announcing Henry's birth, Kane posted: 'Welcome to the world Henry Edward Kane. 20/8/2023. Love you baby boy!' The couple also own two Labradors, Brady and Wilson.
Life in Germany
The family now lives in Germany after Kane's transfer to Bayern Munich. They reside in a £30 million hilltop mansion in an area called the 'Beverly Hills of Bavaria'. Previously, they lived in a £17 million home in north London. Kane told the Guardian: 'They're in school now and have been skiing the last couple of weekends. Just having that has been great for them. We've met a few of the parents at school and made friends with team-mates' wives and kids. Slowly but surely it starts to feel like home.'
Kate Goodland's Career
Goodland, 33, studied sports science and works as a personal trainer, sharing fitness tips with her nearly 250,000 Instagram followers. Kane has expressed pride in her independence, saying: 'She always wanted to do her own thing. She went to university and worked hard.' She also collaborated with jewellery brand Loquet London to create a collection benefiting the Harry Kane Foundation.
