Gymnastics Finals and Swimming Heats Mark Day Three
Day three of the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow delivered a packed schedule of sporting action, including the men's and women's all-around gymnastics finals, swimming heats, weightlifting medal ceremonies, and netball and boxing matches.
Men's All-Around Gymnastics
In the men's all-around gymnastics final, Marios Georgiou of Cyprus competed on the rings. Reuben Ward of Scotland celebrated with his coaches as the final score confirmed him as the winner. Jovi Loh of Singapore received medical attention after falling off the parallel bars.
Women's All-Around Gymnastics
Georgia Godwin of Australia attempted a vault during the women's all-around gymnastics final. The stage was set for the men's all-around final at The Arena.
Swimming Heats
Ciara Schlosshan and Keanna MacInnes of Scotland competed in the women's 100m butterfly swimming heats. Adam Ramsay-Peaty participated in the men's 50m breaststroke heats.
Weightlifting Medal Ceremony
Ruth Asuquo Nyong of Nigeria lifted in the women's 48kg weightlifting. Gold medalist Mirabai Chanu Saikhom of India posed during the women's 48kg weightlifting medal ceremony.
Netball and Boxing
The ball was in play during the netball Pool A match between Australia and England at The Hydro. Samoa's Danielle Dominique Holland was in action during her women's boxing 54kg bout with Mauritius' Marie Marine Gabriel.
Wheelchair Basketball and 3x3 Basketball
Robyn Love of Scotland shot under pressure from Laxmi Rayannavar of India during a women's 3x3 basketball wheelchair pool match. Uganda's Melissa Akullu was challenged by Fiji's Bolou Tuisue during a 3x3 women's basketball match.
