Fery's Family Wealth and Early Life
Arthur Fery, at 23, is the wealthiest British tennis player currently competing professionally, thanks to his father Loic Fery's fortune of £275 million from the finance sector. Loic was ranked 398th on France's rich list in 2023 and previously owned Ligue 1 club FC Lorient. Fery attended a local independent school in Wimbledon with annual fees of £33,000 before earning a tennis scholarship at Stanford University in the United States.
Prize Money and Wimbledon 2026 Earnings
Fery has accumulated £650,000 in ATP tour prize money. After defeating Flavio Cobolli on July 8, 2026, he advanced to the Wimbledon semi-finals, securing an additional £900,000. If he beats world No. 2 Alexander Zverev on July 10 and reaches the final, his prize pot could grow to £1.8 million.
Comparison with Other British Tennis Stars
Fery's net worth already exceeds that of other top British players. Andy Murray, a three-time Grand Slam winner, has a fortune of £110 million according to Forbes. Emma Raducanu, 2021 US Open champion, has a net worth of £13.5 million from endorsements with Dior, Porsche, and British Airways.
Reflections on Stanford and Pro Career
Reflecting on his time at Stanford, Fery said: 'Yeah, yeah, it's been a while now, three years since I was there. Yeah, spent three years at Stanford as a transition after my career as a junior. Yeah, really loved it. Don't regret it at all.' He added: 'I came out with a lot of hunger coming out of that, and I was ready to attack the pro circuit. Learnt a lot. Made some great friends. The coaches are awesome, and obviously it was a great academic school, as well. Provided me with a backup in case tennis didn't work out.'
