Two teenagers have been taken into custody by West Midlands Police following the tragic death of a 19-year-old who was fatally stabbed in a Birmingham street.
Violent Attack in Handsworth
Yassin Alama, aged 19, was pronounced dead at the scene on Hutton Road in Handsworth after suffering stab wounds around 5:20pm on November 16. The incident has been described by investigators as a violent street attack that resulted in the young man's death.
Police confirmed they have made significant progress in their investigation, arresting a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of murder from a property in Birmingham. Additionally, an 18-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Jenny Birch from the homicide team stated earlier: "This was a violent attack in the street which has sadly resulted in the death of Yassin. Yassin's family have been left absolutely devastated by what has happened, and we are doing everything we can to support them, and to give them answers."
