Three men have been formally charged in connection with a brazen armed robbery at a luxury watch shop in London, as police continue their pursuit of three additional suspects believed to be involved in the incident.

Details of the Knightsbridge Robbery

The Metropolitan Police reported that six individuals, armed with weapons including machetes, stormed a Rolex store located in the affluent Knightsbridge area at approximately 10:50 AM on Tuesday, 20 January. The suspects allegedly entered the premises and threatened both staff members and members of the public before making off with several high-value watches, each valued at thousands of pounds. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during the robbery, which occurred in a busy part of the city.

Police Investigation and Charges

In response to the robbery, the Met's Flying Squad launched a swift investigation. This led to the arrest of three men in the early hours of Thursday. The individuals charged are:

  • Dean Dinan, aged 29 and from Islington in north London, faces charges of robbery, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and possession of criminal property.
  • Elliot Campbell, aged 31 and also from Islington, has been charged with robbery, possession of criminal property, and possession of drugs.
  • Dyllan Gowie, aged 27 and from Tower Hamlets, is charged with robbery and possession of drugs.

The trio is scheduled to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court later on Friday, 6 February 2026, as the legal proceedings commence.

Ongoing Police Efforts

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Mather commented on the incident, stating, "This robbery was carried out in a busy part of London, and we understand the alarm it has caused." He added, "Officers were on scene within minutes, and investigators are working at pace to piece together the offenders' movements. We are determined to find those involved and bring them to justice as swiftly as possible."

The investigation remains active, with authorities continuing to hunt for three other men believed to be connected to the robbery. The police have emphasised their commitment to resolving the case and ensuring that all perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.
