Prince Harry surprises Alison Hammond on This Morning

Prince Harry surprised viewers with an unexpected appearance on ITV's This Morning, where he engaged in a lively laser tag match with host Alison Hammond at the Invictus Games event in Birmingham. The Duke of Sussex, 41, showed his competitive side, opting for a two-hand grip on the laser gun as the pair laughed, hugged, and jumped around like old friends.

Royal Visit Sparks Family Reunion Rumors

Meanwhile, speculation persists that Prince Harry may not be visiting the UK alone. Fans hope to catch a glimpse of Meghan Markle and their children, Archie and Lilibet, during the rare trip. Reports suggest Meghan and the kids might reunite with King Charles, whom they last saw in person at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. However, time is limited as Harry is scheduled to depart on Sunday after the Invictus Games countdown launch.

According to the Mirror, any family gatherings would be private, with no public appearances planned. No sightings of Meghan, Archie, or Lilibet have been confirmed, and their presence in the UK remains unconfirmed. Meghan was originally scheduled to join Harry at the Invictus one-year countdown event at Birmingham's NEC but did not attend. Metro has approached the Sussexes' representative for comment, but Meghan's spokesperson previously declined to comment on the reports.

King Charles and Grandchildren

King Charles, 77, who has been undergoing cancer treatments since his 2024 diagnosis, has met Archie, seven, only a few times before the Sussexes moved to the US. Lilibet, five, has met the monarch only once, during the June 2022 Jubilee. Security concerns have marked the family's UK trip after Harry's protection level changed when he stepped down as a working royal in 2020. The Duke has been in a lengthy legal battle with the Home Office over security arrangements, losing a Court of Appeal challenge last year. In a BBC interview, Harry claimed Charles does not speak to him because of the court case.

Harry stated: 'I can't see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children back to the UK at this point and the things that they're going to miss is, well, everything you know.' The father and son met over tea in Clarence House in September last year, the first reunion in almost 20 months.

Harry's Packed Itinerary

Prince Harry has had a busy schedule since arriving in London alone on Monday. He visited Birmingham Children's Hospital and WellChild, a charity he is a patron of. At the hospital, he spoke with staff about the financial strain facing the NHS and told a 12-year-old patient named Alec that his son Archie is 'obsessed with Lego' and a 'master builder.'
