Broader Impact
The financial institution shut 35 locations during the first four months of 2026, with a further 38 earmarked for closure before year-end. NatWest is not alone in shuttering branches: Santander revealed plans to close 44 branches in January, most already closed, with the remaining 15 set to close this month.
