A major murder investigation has been launched by detectives following the discovery of an 82-year-old man's body in a West Hampstead flat, with a 53-year-old man arrested at the property on suspicion of murder.
Police Respond to Welfare Concerns
Officers were called to West End Lane at approximately 11:30am on Thursday, March 5, after receiving reports regarding welfare concerns for the elderly resident. The street was immediately cordoned off as paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and confirmed the man was deceased.
