Suliaman Tajzai, 18, of Wesley Road in Leeds, stands accused of knifing Farmanullah Sherzad on Abbey Orchard Street on the evening of Friday, March 27. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at the scene for multiple serious injuries, Farmanullah Sherzad was rushed to a nearby hospital where he tragically succumbed to his wounds. Police Investigation and Additional Arrest
Tajzai was formally charged with murder on Monday, March 31, and is scheduled to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today. In a parallel development, police have arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the same incident.
