The Guardian has issued corrections for several recent articles. In a 13 July article on page 31 titled ‘Godzilla’ El Niño may trigger global food price shock lasting into 2028, it was incorrectly stated that UniCredit predicted a 14.3% drop in global agricultural production after an extreme El Niño weather cycle. In fact, the prediction came from climate analysts Risilience.
Image Misidentification
In a 9 July article on page 8 of G2 titled ‘I’ve avoided success and failure. It’s fantastic!’, a 1986 image from Glastonbury was described as showing Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians. The image actually depicted Australian band the Go-Betweens.
