Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks Confirm Relationship
Olivia Attwood, 35, and Pete Wicks, 37, have officially gone public with their romance, ending months of speculation. Pete posted a series of photos on Instagram of the couple cuddled up in Ibiza, captioned: 'I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA'. The hard-launch comes six months after Attwood's split from footballer husband Bradley Dack, whom she had known for a decade.
How the Romance Started
According to The Sun, Attwood and Wicks struck up their romance at the Brit Awards in February, where they later stayed at the same hotel. However, a source clarified: 'Their passionate romance only started in the last few weeks, since she has split from Bradley; there was no overlap.' Another insider told Closer Magazine that Attwood has 'always been drawn to Pete' and 'carried a torch for him.' The secrecy made it exciting, and they enjoy nights in watching movies together.
Relationship Dynamic and Bradley Dack's Reaction
The insider described Attwood as 'quite dramatic and intense, whereas Pete is very laid back, but somehow it works.' A Sun source added that Wicks was 'a shoulder to cry on' during Attwood's 'really horrible breakup' from Dack, noting that 'Pete has held a torch for Olivia for a really long time.' As for Dack, he is reportedly 'embarrassed' and 'livid,' having been hopeful for a reconciliation. A source said: 'Bradley was hopeful for a reunion with Olivia but after this, he's just livid and will take her to the cleaners.' Dack had suspected something for the last year, but Attwood always denied any romantic involvement with Wicks.
History of Attwood and Wicks' Friendship
Attwood and Wicks first met on Towie in 2017 and have been close friends ever since, even hosting a radio show together on KISS FM. Signs of their chemistry were visible in September 2025, when they were pictured looking cosy on a luxury yacht in Ibiza. At the time, Attwood was still married to Dack, and Wicks said he 'felt sick' at the thought of people misconstruing their innocent cuddle. After those pictures surfaced, Attwood opened up about marital tension on her podcast, stating: 'I think that there was stuff going on on both sides…. At the end of day, marriage is really f***ing hard.'
Attwood's Marriage to Bradley Dack
Attwood first met Dack in 2015 through mutual friends. They dated on and off for a year before she entered the Love Island villa in 2017, finishing in third place with Chris Hughes. After splitting from Hughes in March 2018, Attwood and Dack rekindled their romance and married in 2023. However, after 'a really bad summer,' their marriage fell apart due to 'a breach of trust' on Dack's part. The Sun revealed in October 2025 that they had parted ways, with a source saying: 'Olivia is heartbroken.'
Wicks' Previous Relationships
Before Attwood, Wicks dated Towie castmates Jess Wright and Verity Chapman, and had a high-profile relationship with Megan McKenna in 2016. He was also linked to Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Przystal after his 2024 stint on the show, and briefly romanced EastEnders star Danielle Harold and former Love Island star Maura Higgins. Last month, Attwood accused Higgins of 'copying' her career, allegedly calling her a 'stalker' to friends after Higgins posted a similar Instagram photo with a Parisian influencer.
