Barron Trump has swapped his signature slicked-back hairstyle for a more relaxed, preppy look during a rare public appearance at the UFC Freedom 250 event held on the South Lawn of the White House. The 20-year-old joined his father, US President Donald Trump, for the weekend event, which drew significant online attention not only for the fights but also for Barron's transformed appearance.
A New Style for a Special Occasion
Barron, who turned 20 on the day of the event, appeared with his hair styled in a looser, more natural manner, a departure from the polished look he has often displayed in the past. He also sported light facial stubble, moving away from his usual clean-shaven image. Completing the outfit, he wore a dark blue suit with a white shirt, left open at the collar, projecting a laid-back vibe.
This outing marked Barron's first major public appearance in several months. His last widely reported event alongside his father was the State of the Union address in February.
Life Away from the Spotlight
Despite the attention he garners online, Barron has largely maintained a low profile since becoming an adult. This preference for privacy was discussed earlier this year by Lara Trump, who is married to Barron's half-brother, Eric Trump. Speaking on her podcast, The Right View with Lara Trump, she described Barron as a 'sleeper' figure.
'I feel like he's the sleeper,' Lara said. 'You want to hear more about Barron 'cause you see less of him. And I think that's kind of cool.' She added that while she isn't sure how much attention Barron pays to social media discussions, he is aware of the public interest, which is one reason he prefers to stay out of the limelight.
Lara also reflected on watching Barron grow up, joking that it made her feel ancient. 'He's turned out to be a really great kid,' she said.
Education and Future Plans
Away from public appearances, Barron is currently studying at New York University's Stern School of Business campus in Washington DC. Lara revealed that he is looking forward to completing his studies and entering the workforce. 'I think he's got two years left of college, but he's excited to finish college and get out and work, which I love,' she said.
