Officers were called to the park at 1:12 a.m. on 21 July 2026, where they discovered the victim. He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, with injuries described as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Arrest Made in Connection with Assault
A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody as investigations continue. The Met Police confirmed that a cordon was in place, with two marked police cars stationed at the green, according to local residents.
