Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has been declared a 'missing person' after his family filed an official report at the British Embassy in Dubai. The 43-year-old businessman has not been heard from since Wednesday night, according to Katie, who initially believed he was simply taking a break from social media.
Katie's Plea for Help
Katie, 47, who married Lee after knowing him for just days, expressed her concerns on her YouTube channel, pleading for support. She revealed that she believes Lee may have been kidnapped, citing a FaceTime call during which he appeared tied up in an old van with mesh windows, his hood up, and panicking that 'they are coming for me.'
After 10pm on Wednesday, when Lee was expected to have traveled from Dubai to the UK, his location went offline, and messages from Katie and his family were not delivered. Katie said she had planned to file a missing persons report after liaising with UAE authorities, who also have no knowledge of Lee's whereabouts.
Official Report Filed
According to The Sun, an official report has now been lodged by Lee's family at the British Embassy in Dubai, where he has lived for 21 years and where he claimed to have purchased a £36 million mansion with Katie. He was last seen at the airport, having shared a video on Instagram. Lee was supposed to join Katie on Good Morning Britain for their first joint interview but failed to appear, leaving her to face the cameras alone.
During the interview, Katie denied reports that a British man detained at the airport was Lee, explaining that he had visa issues preventing him from boarding a flight. Despite promising to come, he did not, and Katie lost contact with him, escalating her concerns.
Source's Statement
A source close to Katie said: 'Katie is in constant contact with his family and is desperately worried. And she's mortified — she's seen people calling it a stunt and that she must be in on it, but she's absolutely not. This is such a worrying, upsetting situation.'
