Body of Missing Man Found on Devon Beach

The body of a missing man in Devon has been discovered on Hollicombe beach following an extensive search operation. Robert Sutton, 38, was reported missing on Saturday evening, prompting a coordinated response from the RNLI, HM Coastguard, and Devon and Cornwall Police.

Shortly before midnight on Saturday, at approximately 11:45pm, search teams located the body of a man on Hollicombe beach. Mr Sutton's family has been informed of the tragic development. Devon and Cornwall Police issued a statement confirming the discovery: 'Emergency services searching for 38-year-old Robert Sutton, who had been reported missing from Paignton on the night of Saturday 16 May, have found the body of a man.' The search was launched after Mr Sutton was reported missing at around 7:40pm. Police, HM Coastguard, and the RNLI conducted extensive searches of the area.
