Haruun Hassan, a 22-year-old man, has been named and pictured after being stabbed to death on a night bus in Hounslow. The attack occurred on the N9 route near Heathrow Airport in the early hours of Tuesday, June 30, shortly before 1:50 am.

Details of the Incident

Hassan died on Bath Road, part of the A4, following the stabbing. Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service, responded quickly but were unable to save him. Forensics teams were seen gathering evidence along the A4 on Wednesday, with yellow markers, first aid equipment, and clothing visible within a lengthy cordon.

Investigation and Appeal

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, leading the investigation, stated: “Our officers responded quickly with London Ambulance Service and did everything possible to help the victim. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends. This is a fast-paced investigation, and enquiries are ongoing.” No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the Met Police.
