Tragic Discovery at Little Eden Holiday Park
Two teenagers have been found dead at a holiday park in East Yorkshire, leading to the arrest of a 33-year-old man on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter. The incident occurred at Little Eden Holiday Park in Bridlington, where police were called on Wednesday after the bodies of a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were discovered inside a rental property.
Police Investigation and Arrest
The suspect was taken into custody on Thursday and remains detained as authorities continue their investigation. Humberside Police have confirmed that the deaths are currently unexplained, but they are exploring the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning as a potential cause.
Chief Superintendent Matt Peach of Humberside Police stated, "Whilst we are in the very early stages and the deaths at this time remain unexplained, we are exploring the possibility that they may be connected to carbon monoxide poisoning, with further enquiries continuing with our partner agencies."

A cordon remains in place at the holiday park as police work closely with Humberside Fire & Rescue, the Health and Safety Executive, and East Riding of Yorkshire Council to establish the full circumstances surrounding the tragic incident. Chief Superintendent Peach emphasized the distress this has caused for the families involved, noting that specially trained officers have been providing support over the past 24 hours.
