Tributes Pour In for 'Incredible' Charity Worker
The community in Swindon is in mourning following the death of Sarah Forrester, a dedicated mental health charity worker described as an 'incredible person' and 'caring' colleague. Ms Forrester, who was in her 50s, was pronounced dead at an address in the Wiltshire town on Friday evening.
A Life Dedicated to Helping Others
A statement from The Kelly Foundation, where Ms Forrester worked, expressed profound grief. 'Everyone at The Kelly Foundation is heartbroken at the sudden loss of our lovely Sarah,' the statement read. It highlighted her complete commitment to the charity and her devotion to her two young children.
The charity described her as a pivotal figure in their work, noting her loss was a 'hugely traumatic event' for colleagues, family, and especially her children. She was remembered as a 'kind, thoughtful, considerate, caring and funny' individual who embodied the charity's values.
Kerry Marsh, a neighbour and friend of seven years, told Sky News: 'Sarah was a good friend of mine. She was a kind soul who would help anyone. She was a great mum and did so much with her children.'
Police Investigation Continues
In a related development, a 13-year-old girl who was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with Ms Forrester's death has been bailed as police enquiries continue.
Authorities have stated that there is no wider risk to the public and they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. Wiltshire Police have issued a request, urging people not to speculate about the case online to avoid prejudicing the ongoing investigation.
