The devastated family of a 16-year-old girl have released a moving tribute following her death after an incident at a London Underground station earlier this week.
A Life Full of Promise
Daisy House passed away in hospital after being on the tracks at Loughton Underground station at approximately 2.30pm on Monday, December 15. The British Transport Police (BTP) released a statement from her grieving parents on Saturday, December 20, alongside a photograph of Daisy.
In their tribute, her family described Daisy as a bright, beautiful, clever, and funny young woman who had just begun Sixth Form. They emphasised that she had her whole future ahead of her, a future now tragically cut short.
Family's Gratitude and Request for Privacy
The statement expressed profound thanks to the emergency services and medical staff who fought to save Daisy's life. The family highlighted the kindness shown by a specific British Transport Police officer and paediatric nurses during the ordeal.
They also acknowledged the support from the community, stating: "We thank everyone who has sent best wishes, kind messages, and floral tributes." Following this public acknowledgement, the family has asked for their privacy to be respected as they attempt to come to terms with their immense loss.
