A teenage boy has been charged with the murder of a nine-year-old girl in a quiet Somerset town, in a case that has sent shockwaves through the local community.
Emergency Response to Lime Close
Emergency services were called to Lime Close in Weston-super-Mare at 6.09pm on Monday, 15 December 2025. Despite their rapid response, the young girl was pronounced dead at the scene. She has since been formally identified by police as Aria Thorpe.
