A community is in mourning after the tragic death of a 16-year-old girl at a London Underground station in Essex.
A Life Cut Short
Daisy House, described by her heartbroken family as a 'bright, beautiful, clever, and funny' girl, passed away following an incident at Loughton Underground Station. Emergency services were called to the station just after 2.30pm on Monday, 15 December, after reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and provided treatment, but despite their best efforts and the work of hospital staff, Daisy could not be saved. She died later in hospital.
Family's Heartfelt Tribute
In an emotional statement, Daisy's family paid tribute to their beloved daughter, who had recently begun her Sixth Form studies. 'She had her whole future ahead of her,' they said.
The family also expressed profound gratitude to the emergency services and medical teams who fought to save Daisy. They offered special thanks to a British Transport Police officer and paediatric nurses for treating them with exceptional kindness during the ordeal.
'We thank everyone who has sent best wishes, kind messages, and floral tributes,' the family's statement concluded.

British Transport Police have confirmed the timeline of the tragic event and have stated that they are not treating Daisy's death as suspicious. This indicates that no criminal investigation is being pursued in connection with the incident.
