Jeremy Clarkson: 'I'm perfectly fine' after cancer surgery

Jeremy Clarkson has reassured fans he is in good health after revealing an aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis on the latest series of Clarkson's Farm. In a video posted to Instagram on Saturday, the 66-year-old presenter said: 'The more observant among you will have noticed I'm not dead. I'm not just not dead, I'm perfectly fine.'

Clarkson’s cancer diagnosis and surgery

In the recent series of Clarkson’s Farm, Clarkson disclosed that doctors had discovered a particularly aggressive form of cancer. However, he also stated that it had been caught early, and he underwent surgery to remove part of his prostate. The video, filmed at his farm, showed him walking through a meadow. He joked: 'My eyebrows in particular are looking very lustrous.'

Encouraging early testing

Clarkson attributed his successful outcome to early detection. 'The reason why I’m fine is because the doctor’s caught the prostate cancer early and they caught it early because I got tested,' he said. He urged his followers to get tested, even suggesting embellishing symptoms to secure a blood test. 'Get tested,' he signed off. In the caption, he thanked fans for their kind messages.
