The collection was co-developed with triple Olympic athlete and two-time Commonwealth Champion Hannah Miley MBE. Innovative Period-Proof Technology
The swimwear integrates period-proof technology that protects users throughout their cycle, preventing visible leaks and disruptions. WUKA's research found that 69% of girls avoid swimming during their periods. The gusset can hold up to 20ml of menstrual blood, equivalent to three sanitary towels or four tampons, for up to four hours of swim training. The Quick-Dry Integrated Absorbent Technology is thin and discreet for comfort.
Designed for Performance
The designs feature hydrodynamic support for competitive athletes, made from recycled materials that are 100% chlorine resistant, offer UV50+ protection, and provide 20 times more compression than standard elastane. The range includes a racer back swimsuit, tie back swimsuit, bikini top and bottoms, and a legsuit, all with the Lunafly print.
