Max Branning (Jake Wood) faced wedding-day chaos in EastEnders as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) stormed the venue just as he was about to say 'I do' to Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins). Linda, who had confessed her love for Max the night before, was appalled to discover he had been sleeping with Priya behind Cindy's back and resolved to intervene. Priya, horrified that Linda knew about the affair and planned to reveal it to the guests, raced to stop her.

Cindy had already been questioning whether marrying Max was the right choice after their big day was hit with numerous obstacles. Her fears may soon be realised as she learns what Max has been up to. Kim and Howie's Hospital Wedding Brings Hope
Elsewhere, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) was devastated that her sister Denise Fox (Diane Parish) couldn't attend her wedding due to receiving treatment. Groom Howie (Delroy Atkinson) suggested moving the ceremony to the hospital, delighting the bride. At the hospital, Kim and Howie tied the knot, and the moment became even more special when a doctor arrived to reveal they had found a provisional stem-cell match for Denise.
When the newlyweds returned to the Square, they were less than happy to discover Ryder (Felix Urr) and Jodie (Anna Constable) had been helping themselves to their drinks without permission.
Kat and Tommy's Heart-to-Heart
In other developments, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) was delayed in getting to a meeting organised by Zoe (Michelle Ryan) to help them buy Charlie's cab. Things went awry when Zoe argued with the seller and decided to steal the cab. At the Vic, Kat and Tommy (Sonny Kendall) shared a heart-to-heart after she discovered he had been drinking.
