EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of Lauren Branning and Mark Fowler Jr's passionate kiss, with the duo giving into temptation. Chemistry has been building between the pair after they started working together at the car lot, selling dodgy motors. Lauren initially refused to get involved in anything illegal but relented knowing it would pay better.
Mark sets Lauren a test that backfires
Mark risked their dynamic when he let Ravi Gulati get into his head about taking all the risks while Lauren gets off scot free. He set Lauren a test which backfired, leaving her terrified and fracturing their relationship. In Monday's episode, Mark warned Lauren off delivering their latest motor but left the garage without the new number plates. He was pulled over by police and forced to flee to a client's father's work site, where he phoned Lauren to bring the fake plates and tools.
Passionate kisses and a secret meeting
Lauren complied, and chemistry ensued as they shared a series of passionate kisses. Back at the Square, Mark told Lauren to meet him at the Boxing Den if she wanted things to go further. After deliberation, Lauren arrived and shut the blinds of the office. The pictures from Tuesday's episode show Lauren wrestling with her emotions, leaving fans to wonder if she will cheat on Peter with Mark. A flashforward episode previewing New Year's Day 2027 implied a secret relationship between the two.
