Brookside star Philip Olivier has tied the knot with his longtime partner Amy Virtue, with whom he shares five children. The 46-year-old actor, best known for playing Tim ‘Tinhead’ O’Leary on the Channel 4 soap from 1996 to 2003, reprised the role on Hollyoaks last year.
Wedding Celebration at Liverpool’s Canning Docks
The couple celebrated their marriage on Saturday aboard the Daffodil boat at Liverpool’s Canning Docks. Guests were treated to a celebratory tasting experience menu and gifted limoncello as a keepsake. Jennifer Ellison, who played Olivier’s Brookside love interest Emily Shadwick, shared the news on Instagram and was one of several soap pals at the special day.

Jennifer shared a clip of the new Mr and Mrs descending the boat’s staircase with their arms around one another to cheers, before Philip gave his bride a spin on the dance floor. Amy dazzled in a white lace gown with spaghetti straps and matching sleeves and collar piece, while Philip wore a cream waistcoat, trousers, tie, and a white shirt, whooping excitedly and wearing aviator sunglasses.
