Aries (March 21 to April 20)
Tarot card: The Devil
Meaning: The Devil takes no prisoners and has a ruthless, self-serving streak. This Taurean New Moon compels you to make a big change that benefits you, and maybe you alone. If you don’t serve yourself well, then who will? Be wary, however, that this isn’t serving an old habit whose outcome you already know and vowed never to return to. Be wary that you’re not under the influence of a subconscious rut. But, otherwise, do what thou wilt, Aries, because sometimes you just have to.
Taurus (April 21 to May 21)
Tarot card: Five of Coins
Meaning: Address a loss. Repair a major breach. Recover a setback and do better this time around. The Five of Coins asks you to face an old wound, regret, or loss this week. Enough time has passed that you can talk about it dispassionately now and see things as they are. You have come to terms with it, but now you can also do something to redress the balance. What was lost can be rebuilt even better. Lessons are learned. What was done badly can be corrected to produce a great outcome. What was grieved or regretted can be healed and fixed because you see the flaws and issues needing attention. Go back and repair. It will work.
Gemini (May 22 to June 21)
Tarot card: Eight of Swords
Meaning: You have recently fallen into a slightly paranoid trap of thinking ‘everyone else is out to get me’ or forces are working against you, or the competition will always beat you. You’re diminishing your power by thinking too much and too often about other people, assuming you know their motives, actions, and outcomes. You don’t know. And you can’t control any of that. So, take back control this Taurus New Moon and focus all of your energy and effort on what lies within your control and zone of influence. Immediate results will ensue.
Cancer (June 22 to July 23)
Tarot card: Three of Swords
Meaning: The Taurus New Moon makes you sensitive to themes of control, power, certainty, and security – all of which make you tick! You can see areas where your force or impact has been shaken, diluted, or even attacked. This makes you mad. It’s time to surgically remove the people, places, roles, or situations that diminish your ability to make a safe, secure stronghold for yourself and your loved ones. What doesn’t serve you well can take its leave. Be clear and ruthless. No more excuses or second chances. It’s time to clear house.
Leo (July 24 to August 23)
Tarot card: The Hierophant
Meaning: Your career is under the spotlight this week, Leo. The Taurean New Moon has you thinking about wealth, progress, control, and power. You want to be a leader, an expert, a voice of power in your career realm. The Hierophant agrees and wonders how the theme of education can play a role here. Maybe it’s by coaching others, being a mentor, or sharing your knowledge and expertise in some way that can elevate you quickly. Maybe it’s by seeking a mentor or teacher yourself, someone with equal wisdom and influence, a useful ally as well as a sounding board. Choose carefully. Maybe it’s a bit of both. Time to rise.
Virgo (August 24 to September 23)
Tarot card: Page of Wands
Meaning: A Taurus New Moon brings you a double whammy dose of practical can-do energy, which you’re already well stocked in. So, maybe this is a great week to be a bit more wild and spontaneous in your schedule and to-do list. You’re already way ahead of the game, so step outside the usual routine and freestyle it. Notice what comes up and follow it. Be reactive. Let yourself go off-track and pursue a curious incident, invitation, or topic. Experiment often. Try new things, tech, places, and processes. You will discover amazing new things this week, all off the beaten track.
Libra (September 24 to October 23)
Tarot card: Two of Swords
Meaning: Taurus is ruled by your planet, Venus, so you share a cosmic connection, making this New Moon important to you. Security, stability, wealth, and luxury matter to you, and are all Taurean concerns too. Use this week to make some bold, shrewd decisions about how you build wealth and security (and ideally luxury) in your realm. Motivate yourself to new levels of achievement and success by imagining the rewards possible, and then making a strong, robust plan of action to get closer to this vision. The decisions you make now will play out up to June and totally revamp your earning capacity. The higher you aim, the better the results!
Scorpio (October 24 to November 22)
Tarot card: Knight of Cups
Meaning: You see yourself as a provider and protector in your realm – being strong for others, helping them live a good life, creating stability, and lending them your force and resilience as needed. You’re already doing all the things that your opposite sign Taurus would do, so this New Moon, how about doing some of those things for yourself? Check in on your worries, weaknesses, or wobbles, and show some self-compassion, care, nurturing, and attention. Ask for help, even! You are loved and liked and respected. Folk want you to win. You can’t just give and give and never accept help or support or input back. So, make this week all about you. Address your own needs first.
Sagittarius (November 23 to December 21)
Tarot card: King of Wands
Meaning: This is your official invitation to reset a purpose and create a new life strategy. Sit down, reflect, review, visualise, daydream, invent, and plan. Research options, pressure test ideas, weave them into a strategy you can execute, and get going. Yes, it’s that easy for you, Sagittarius, because you are bright, bold, and lucky! The King of Wands is your tarot King because he rules the Fire element, so let passion lead you. This Taurus New Moon is a very lucky time to activate a new life quest, a fresh adventure, a different journey. Be bold.
Capricorn (December 22 to January 21)
Tarot card: King of Coins
Meaning: Wanna get rich? Of course you do – every Capricorn is invested in money and wealth. Happy days then, this Taurus New Moon week, because you get the King of Coins on your side! He is literally the king of money and your sign’s tarot king as he rules the Earth element. You literally couldn’t get any more cosmic, esoteric, magical help or allies on side if you tried! So, apply, invest, pitch, innovate, create, demand, negotiate, buy, sell, invent. Do whatever you do to create wealth, and it will work. It will spin off and lead to more options, which you should then pursue, and so on. A spiral of new revenue creation awaits you.
Aquarius (January 22 to February 19)
Tarot card: Ace of Cups
Meaning: A new role or alliance is possible for you this week, something creative, warm, and uplifting. Maybe it spills out of a friendship or social network versus a stiff job professionally applied for. Many things come about because of who you know, versus what you know, right? It will appear out of the blue, but it’s a gift from this Taurus New Moon, and it’s going to help bring you security and wealth, so you should jump right in and crack on. Creativity feels a key ingredient here. So get your imagination fired up, get social and talking, and see what the Universe brings you.
Pisces (February 20 to March 20)
Tarot card: Judgement
Meaning: You experience a beautiful meeting of perspectives this week, Pisces. Your powerful imagination and intuition meet up with Taurus’s New Moon practicality and shrewd can-do attitude. This means anything is possible! Look in the mirror and ask yourself what you truly want. Be honest. Judgement will help you to see yourself clearly, know your powers and desires, and what outcomes would make you feel in your ‘niche’ in this life. That’s the real goal – finding and securing a niche. It can all start to happen this week.
