Slam Dunk Festival South 2026 is set to take over Hatfield Park this weekend, bringing together some of the biggest names in pop-punk, emo, metalcore, hardcore, and ska. With the hottest weekend of the year so far, it's the perfect weather to don your all-black outfit, apply sunscreen, and enjoy live performances from bands like Good Charlotte, Knocked Loose, and Taking Back Sunday. The festival, which kicks off on Saturday, May 23, also features the first official UK performance from Sublime, alongside homegrown favorites such as Malevolence, Pest Control, and A.
Last-Minute Tickets
Tickets for the one-day festival are still available for purchase on the Slam Dunk website for £139. This price does not include a shuttle bus ticket, which must be bought separately. Alternatively, fans can find tickets through the Dice app or via fan-to-fan resale on Twickets, where prices start as low as £114.
Getting to the Festival
Hatfield Park is conveniently located just north of London, with direct trains from King's Cross to Hatfield taking approximately 34 minutes. This makes it easy for attendees to reach the festival grounds.
Returning to London
Getting back to London after the festival can be challenging, especially after a long day in the heat. Trains from Hatfield to London run until just before 1am, but queues at the station can be lengthy after the headline acts finish around 10:20pm. To avoid the chaos, pre-booking a seat on a shuttle bus is recommended. Shuttles run from Hatfield Train Station to Camden Town between 10pm and 1am, with tickets costing £13.20. While queues may still exist, a seat is guaranteed. For those with accessibility needs, detailed information is available on the Slam Dunk website.
Afterparties
The festival offers several afterparties for attendees who want to continue the fun. Shuttle buses run to both Hatfield and Camden locations after the festival ends, but tickets must be purchased in advance. In Camden, afterparties include a club event at the Electric Ballroom featuring a Facedown takeover with a live performance from Fall Out Boy tribute band Fell Out Boy, as well as a Slam Dunk and guilty pleasures room. Other venues include Camden Rocks at Underworld and a metal and hardcore club night at The Black Heart. A wristband for access to all venues costs £11 and can be bought on the Slam Dunk website.
