The late May Bank Holiday Weekend marks the official start of London's summer festival season, and Brockwell Park is set to host three major events over the three-day weekend. Kicking things off on Saturday, May 23, is Field Day, now in its second year at the south London venue after a decade in Victoria Park. This year's lineup boasts an impressive array of dance music talent, including headliners Honey Dijon, Andy C, Eliza Rose, Floating Points, and Interplanetary Criminal. When and Where Is Field Day 2026?

Field Day 2026 takes place on Saturday, May 23, at Brockwell Park, SE24 9JU. Gates open at 12pm, with last entry at 8pm and no re-entry allowed. All music concludes by 10:30pm.

Getting to Brockwell Park

Brockwell Park is a short walk from Brixton tube and Herne Hill stations. Parking for e-bikes is available near the festival. Organisers strongly discourage driving to the event.

Tickets and Weather

Tickets are still available via the Field Day website. The Met Office forecasts wall-to-wall sunshine with highs of 29°C and lows of 23°C in the evening. Attendees should be mindful of high UV and pollen levels and stay hydrated.

Bag Policy and Banned Items

Each festivalgoer may bring one bag smaller than A4 size. The following items are prohibited: permanent markers, flags or banners on poles, balaclavas or face coverings, food and drink (except one sealed 500ml water bottle), liquids (except 50ml suncream), drugs, trolleys, pushchairs, animals, filming equipment, bags larger than A4, glitter, drones, glass, cans, metal containers, spray cans, gas canisters, fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns, camping stoves, explosives, radios, scanners, firearms, knives, replica weapons, large golf umbrellas, balloons, stools, camping chairs, furniture, gazebos, parasols, sports equipment, megaphones, klaxons, airhorns, laser pens, scooters, skateboards, bicycles, and any other hazardous items deemed by security.
