Eurovision UK Act Sells 'No Points' T-Shirt After Last Place

Eurovision's UK act, Look Mum No Computer, has been hailed as a legend by fans for selling a T-shirt that reads 'Look Mum No Points' after finishing last in the 2026 contest. The singer, whose real name is Sam Battle, placed 25th out of 25 countries during Saturday night's Grand Final in Vienna, Austria. After receiving just one point from the jury and zero from the public vote, Battle took to Instagram to share a link to a pink T-shirt bearing the cheeky slogan.

Fans Praise Positive Attitude

Commenting on his post, many fans applauded his upbeat response to the disappointing result. Alena wrote: 'So much love to you. I didn't like the 0 points at all. You did amazing.' Kuill added: 'Absolute legend, a creative genius and a genuinely wonderful human. Pleasure working with you and very proud to be a part of it. Achieved more these past two weeks than many people could ever hope to come close to!' Luke commented: 'It's not just perfect for UK Eurovision fans, but also for German Eurovision fans – a T-shirt we can wear every year.' Emma simply said: 'Your amazing pal well done.'

From Zero to One Point

Battle had previously promised to make a 'Look Mum Zero Points' T-shirt if he scored zero, but after receiving one point, he had to adjust the design. In a video, he said: 'Issue is I have ordered them but now I have one point. I need to fix it cus they're going out tomoz.' He also shared a clip of himself chanting 'UK' with his team. In the caption, he wrote: 'Bulgaria honestly deserved winner! Met a lot of amazing folk, the most important thing is we all tried our hardest. Regardless of what is against us. Whatever it may be. Gotta keep trying your hardest regardless of the foooookennnn outcome!!!'

UK's Eurovision Track Record

Battle joins a list of UK acts that have finished near the bottom of the leaderboard, with the exception of Sam Ryder, who came second in 2022. Saturday's winner was Bulgaria's Darina Nikolaeva Yotova, known as Dara, who scored 516 points with her song 'Bangaranga'. The night was also marked by controversy, with one of the seven founding Eurovision countries threatening to boycott the 2027 contest over Israel's participation, which saw Israel finish second.

Flemish broadcaster VRT stated it is unlikely to submit a song unless the European Broadcasting Union addresses perceived mismanagement of the competition. Despite the drama, Battle's T-shirt has become a hit, turning a last-place finish into a memorable moment for fans.
