Coronation Street: Jodie Ramsey Sets Sights on Daniel Osbourne as New Victim
Coronation Street: Jodie Targets Daniel Osbourne Next

Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) has already caused chaos in Weatherfield, but her next victim is set to be Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street. After a failed attempt to seduce David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and destroy his marriage to Shona (Julia Goulding), Jodie is now homeless and looking for a new target.

Jodie's Dark Plan Continues

Jodie arrived in Weatherfield with the sole intention of ruining her sister Shona's life, resentful that Shona left their troubled family home as a teen mum. However, her manipulative behavior has extended beyond Shona, as she takes pleasure in making others miserable. In recent episodes, Jodie tricked a drunk David into kissing her by posing as Shona, but her scheme backfired when Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) overheard the confrontation and exposed the truth.

Daniel Becomes the New Target

After David demands Jodie move out, she overhears Ken Barlow (William Roache) discussing Daniel's plans to visit the Lake District. Seeing an opportunity, Jodie lets herself into Daniel's flat, pretending she found a spare key on the pavement. Daniel is suspicious and orders her to leave, but Jodie threatens to tell his family he isn't in the Lakes unless he lets her stay. Later, Jodie tells Shona she's staying with a friend, but her dark expression hints at more trouble ahead.

Daniel's Vulnerable State

Daniel is already struggling after his relationship with child abuser Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon). Producer Kate Brooks revealed: "He met somebody who's on the same page as a teacher, apparently respectable, and he's been completely duped by it, and it completely makes him unravel." Daniel feels guilty for letting down his son Bertie and Will, and his trust in others is shattered. Jodie has no idea of Daniel's history or what he is capable of when pushed to his limit.

As Jodie continues her manipulative games, Daniel may be the one to uncover her true intentions. Will Jodie's new target prove to be more than she bargained for? Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on ITV.
