Diversity captured the hearts of the nation with their high-energy routines and acrobatic dance moves around 17 years ago. After being crowned champions ahead of Susan Boyle, where are the Diversity members today?
Ashley Banjo
The frontman remains the creative force of the group. The 37-year-old has built a massive solo TV career, appearing as a judge on Dancing on Ice and Britain's Got Talent, and creating The Real Full Monty specials. In 2023, he made his West End debut as the Tin Woodman in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium. Earlier, a Black Lives Matter-inspired dance routine on BGT generated over 30,000 complaints. Ashley is a dad-of-two to Rose and Micah with ex-wife Francesca, from whom he separated in 2022. He currently tours with the Diversity SOUL tour.
Jordan Banjo
Ashley's younger brother, now 33, has appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, The Masked Dancer, and co-hosted the KISS Breakfast Show with Perri Kiely until January 30, 2026. He also fought in a Misfits boxing match in March 2026. Jordan is a dad-of-three and married influencer Naomi in 2022. He continues to tour with Diversity.
Perri Kiely
One of the youngest members, Perri remains a core performer and choreographer. He appeared on Celebs Go Dating, where he was famously timid, and formed a bromance with Joey Essex. He co-hosted KISS Breakfast with Jordan from 2019 to 2026. The 30-year-old shares his busy schedule on Instagram and his relationship with actress Jess Pickles since early 2023.
Sam Craske
An original member who continues to tour and teach at Diversity Dance Studios. He appeared on Celebs Go Dating and dated Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix for two years until 2013. Sam is a father of two with partner Megan: son Blake (born October 27, 2025) and son Caleb (born May 2023).
Mitchell Craske
The other youngster, now 30, continues to tour and teach classes in Essex/London, also working as a social media content creator. He joined Diversity at age 12, the youngest of the original 10-piece group.
Robert Anker
After winning BGT, Robert appeared in videos for Paloma Faith and Jessie J, and in the West End show Thriller Live. Tragically, he died in a car crash in Canada in 2017 after moving there to marry his girlfriend Cyndi. His cousin set up a JustGiving page for funeral expenses.
The McNaughton Brothers
Ian and Jamie McNaughton, founding members, stepped away after the BGT win to pursue other endeavours. They keep a low profile with no public records of professional dance involvement.
Today, the BAFTA-winning group tours the UK with their concept show 'SOUL'. While key members remain, Diversity now consists of 14-15 core performers, including many new recruits.
