Camilla 'Behind Andrew's Downfall and Wants His Children Cut'

A new book by royal author Christopher Wilson claims that Queen Camilla has a hidden ruthless streak and was a driving force behind Prince Andrew's downfall. In his work A Greater Love – Charles and Camilla, Wilson asserts that Camilla, alongside Prince William, convinced King Charles to punish his younger brother following the Epstein scandal. This led to Andrew losing his titles and being evicted from the Royal Lodge.

Camilla's Influence on the King

Wilson compares Camilla to the late Queen Mother, describing her as someone who can put on a sweet smile while possessing a steely resolve. He says Camilla sees her role as supporting and protecting her husband, much like Elizabeth did with King George VI. According to Wilson, Camilla understands that the monarchy is about survival and has read history, knowing how the Queen Mother helped King George VI become a successful wartime monarch. Wilson states that King Charles needs Camilla's iron-clad courage because he is 'too kind and forgiving.'

Targeting the York Family

Beyond Prince Andrew, Wilson claims Camilla has set her sights on Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. He suggests that Camilla wants all the Yorks, including Beatrice, Eugenie, and their children, excluded from the line of succession. Wilson notes that Camilla failed to congratulate Eugenie on her recently announced third pregnancy, which he sees as a sign that 'their names need never be mentioned again.'
