Take That London fans red warning: full list of banned items

The Met Office has issued a rare red weather warning for London as Take That prepare to perform three shows at the London Stadium this week during a sweltering heatwave. The band, comprising Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen, will take the stage on Thursday June 25, Friday June 26, and Saturday June 27 as part of their Circus Live tour.

Red weather warning and safety measures

The red alert is in place until 11:59pm on Thursday June 25, with temperatures expected to remain dangerously high. Friday will still see 36°C, and Saturday will be 32°C, still under heatwave conditions. In response, organisers have announced a 50 per cent price reduction on Smart Water across concessions and hospitality. Free drinking water refill stations will be available both inside and outside the stadium.

An official message to attendees states: "Due to the amber and red weather warnings in place for the Take That concerts, we will be implementing a 50 per cent price reduction on Smart Water across both concessions and hospitality, to support guest safety and enhance the overall experience. We are closely monitoring the forecast for our shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and have measures in place to support the safety and wellbeing of all attendees."

Banned and allowed items

Fans are urged to come prepared with suitable clothing, sun protection, and water. The following items are banned: any glass containers, cans, and camping equipment. Reusable water bottles, including metal ones, are permitted. Soft drinks and water in plastic bottles are allowed but must have screw tops removed. Organisers stress: "Please do not camp outside stadium fence line or on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - it is against local by laws and also very unsafe."

Entry times and accessibility

Door opening times, last entry, and set times are yet to be determined. Re-entry is not permitted. Guests with accessible seating can enter via any stadium entrance. Step-free access is available across all levels. However, wheelchairs and mobility scooters are not allowed in pitch standing or golden circle areas for concerts.

Ticket availability

Standard tickets are largely sold out, but resale and VIP packages remain. Seat Unique offers VIP and hospitality tickets from £59, including perks like food, drinks, early access, and premium seats. Resale platforms viagogo and StubHub have tickets from around £70. The Circus Live tour originally debuted in 2009 and features a spectacular production with fire-breathers, acrobats, and a 30-foot mechanical elephant. Support acts include The Script and Belinda Carlisle.
