A new ice cream shop has opened in west London, inspired by classic Italian gelaterie. La Gelateria Della Luna is bringing Italian gelato, freshly baked pastries, and specialty coffee to the Fulham Road.
A Taste of Italy in Fulham
When it comes to food, Italians have perfected many things. Pizza and pasta are world-renowned, but sweet treats like cannoli, tiramisu, and creamy gelato are equally beloved. Sweet-toothed west Londoners can now enjoy a little taste of Italy at La Gelateria Della Luna, which opened on Friday, May 22, on Fulham Road.
Handcrafted Gelato and More
The café serves handcrafted Italian gelato made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from Italy, including Piedmont hazelnuts and Sicilian pistachios. For those avoiding brain freeze, the café offers freshly baked pastries such as chocolate and hazelnut croissants, as well as specialty coffee from local roasters Code.194. The drinks menu also features matcha, ube, and spirulina lattes, along with traditional rich Italian hot chocolate.
Al Fresco Dining
In addition to indoor seating, al fresco tables create a piazza-like atmosphere, perfect for enjoying sunny days. Guests can choose between one or two scoops of gelato, just in time for the upcoming heatwave. La Gelateria Della Luna is now open at 666 Fulham Road, SW6 5RX.
