McDonald's UK has unveiled a significant menu overhaul set to launch on April 27, 2026, featuring a new breakfast range and the return of several discontinued fan-favorite items. The limited-edition lineup includes both savory and sweet options, with changes impacting breakfast, burgers, drinks, and desserts across all restaurants and drive-thrus.
What's Returning to the McDonald's UK Menu?
The fast-food chain is introducing a spicy twist to breakfast with the launch of Frank's RedHot Ketchup, described as a sweet and tangy sauce with a kick of heat. This new condition inspires a dedicated breakfast range, including a Sausage & Egg McMuffin with Frank's RedHot Ketchup, available in single or double versions, and a fiery Breakfast Wrap incorporating the sauce.
Iconic Burger Makes a Comeback
For burger enthusiasts, the Big Tasty and Double Big Tasty are returning after their last appearance during the Christmas period. The Big Tasty now features a 100% British and Irish quarter-pound beef patty, a size upgrade first implemented in 2023. This iconic burger includes cheese slices, lettuce, onions, tomato, and a unique smoky sauce, all served in a toasted sesame seed bun.
Additional returning savory items include Mozzarella Dippers, paired with a salsa dip. On the sweet side, the Biscoff McFlurry is back after a year-long absence, featuring a dairy soft serve base swirled with Biscoff biscuit crumbs. It joins the classic Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, topped with chocolate pieces and sauce.
Popular Drinks Return
The beverage selection sees the return of the Frozen Cherry Lemonade, dubbed the drink of the summer in 2025, which gained viral popularity on TikTok. This item combines tangy frozen lemonade with a sweet cherry-flavored swirl. Also returning is the Chocolate Honeycomb Frappe, topped with cream and honeycomb pieces.
What's New on the Menu?
While no new food items are introduced beyond the Frank's RedHot Ketchup range, McDonald's is adding two new drinks to its Sprite Zero Mixology line: Raspberry x Sprite Zero and Pineapple x Sprite Zero. These beverages mix Sprite Zero with sugar-free fruit-flavored syrups, offering a refreshing twist.
What's Leaving the Menu?
With the new items launching on April 27, current limited-edition offerings will be discontinued. This includes the McGriddles, Cards Meals, Double Big Mac and Double Big Mac with Bacon, as well as the Easter range featuring the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry, Mini Egg McFlurry, and Mini Egg Frappe. Customers have until April 26 to enjoy these items before they are removed.
