McDonald's UK Menu Shake-Up for May 2026
McDonald's UK has rolled out a major menu update for May 2026, introducing new burgers, drinks, and seven returning fan-favorites. The fast-food chain refreshes its offerings every six weeks, and this month's changes include permanent additions like the Spicy McCrispy and Cheese & Bacon McCrispy, along with limited-time classics such as the Big Tasty and Biscoff McFlurry. However, some items have been removed, including grilled chicken wraps and salads, which are no longer available. Here's everything you need to know about the new and returning items.
New Permanent Burgers: Spicy McCrispy and Cheese & Bacon McCrispy
McDonald's is expanding its McCrispy line with two permanent additions. The Spicy McCrispy features a crispy chicken breast with iceberg lettuce and a creamy spicy mayo for a chilli kick, served in a sourdough-style sesame-topped bun. It costs £5.99 alone or £7.49 as part of a medium meal. The Cheese & Bacon McCrispy pairs the same chicken with black pepper mayo, cheese, bacon, and lettuce, priced at £7.09 for the burger or £8.59 for a medium meal. Both are available from April 28.
Frank's RedHot Breakfast Range
McDonald's has launched a new Frank's RedHot Ketchup, described as sweet, tangy, and spicy. The breakfast range includes a Sausage & Egg McMuffin x Frank's RedHot Ketchup (available as Single or Double) and a spicy Breakfast Wrap with the ketchup. Available from April 28.
Returning Favorites: Big Tasty and Double Big Tasty
The Big Tasty returns with a quarter-pound beef patty, cheese, lettuce, onions, tomato, and smoky sauce in a sesame bun. Prices start at £6.29 for the single and £7.99 for the Double. Available from April 28.
New and Returning McFlurries
The Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry (regular £2.59, mini £1.89) features chocolate pieces and sauce. The Biscoff McFlurry returns after a year away, with Biscoff biscuit crumb swirls at the same price. Both available from April 28.
New Drinks
The viral Frozen Cherry Lemonade returns at £3.09 for a medium. The Chocolate Honeycomb Frappe (£3.69) is back with cream and honeycomb pieces. Two new Sprite Zero Mixology drinks—Raspberry and Pineapple—are available for £2.29 each. All from April 28.
Mozzarella Dippers
The cheesy Mozzarella Dippers return at £2.79 with salsa dip. Available from April 28.
Earlier Menu Highlights (March-April 2026)
Previous updates included the McGriddles (March 17-April 27), Cadbury Mini Egg McFlurry, Creme Egg McFlurry, Mini Eggs Frappe, Spicy McNuggets, Double Big Mac with or without bacon, and Cards Meals featuring collectible character cards. These items were available until April 27.
February 2026 Highlights
The Friends Meal launched with collectible figurines of Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross, alongside Monica's Marinara Sauce. Other items included Tikka Chicken Wrap, Philly Cheese Stack, Pizza Mozzarella Dippers, Milkybar Crispy Cookie McFlurry, Brownie Pie, Doughnut Crumble Latte, and Munchies Vanilla Cheesecake McFlurry. The year started with the Chicken Big Mac, Surf N' Turf (beef and fish combo), Chicken Cheeseburger, Apple Pie Mini McFlurry, Espresso Milkshake, Big Arch burger with two Quarter Pounder patties, Chilli Cheese Bites, Big Mac Sauce Pot (20p), Fajita Chicken One wrap, and Galaxy Smooth Caramel McFlurry. Most were available until February 2.
