London curry restaurants have made a strong showing in the newly released list of the UK's top 100 curry restaurants for 2026, compiled by the Asian Catering Federation. The capital's diverse culinary scene is well represented, with more than 20 restaurants from London earning a spot on the prestigious ranking.
London's Curry Scene Celebrated
The Asian Catering Federation's annual list aims to highlight the best Asian cuisine across the nation, selected through public votes and recommendations from an expert panel. London's curry houses, known for their variety from Hawker-style Malaysian classics to elevated home-style Filipino cooking and South Asian delicacies, dominated the list.
Among the notable inclusions are several Time Out favorites, such as Brigadiers, an Indian barbecue restaurant located in Bloomberg Arcade. Inspired by colonial army messes in India, Brigadiers offers a modern twist with dishes like smoky butter chicken wings, achari beef ribs, goat belly vindaloo samosas, and a tray of seven different poppadums.
Kutir, the first solo project of renowned chef Rohit Ghai, also made the cut. Known for its regularly rotating seasonal menu, Kutir represents the vast diversity of Indian cuisine. Michelin-starred Quilon, which has been serving specialties from India's south-west coast since 1999, is another highlight, featuring signatures like Gressingham duck roast with steamed parathi.
