Described by Greggs as "seasoned chicken wrapped in layers of crisp, golden, glazed puff pastry," the Chicken Roll will launch nationwide on Thursday, April 9. To mark the completion of this pastry trilogy, Greggs will host a special celebration event in London on Wednesday, April 8. The party will take place at 15 Bateman Street in Soho between 3:30 pm and 9 pm, featuring exclusive first tastings of the Chicken Roll alongside chicken-themed cocktails and mocktails.
The event promises a unique retro 90s atmosphere with guests entering through a one-of-a-kind VHS video store installation. In a clever nod to the trilogy theme, attendees must arrive as part of a trio – either friends or family members – and can book 20-minute time slots through Greggs' social media channels.
