More than 59,000 runners are set to start this year's London Marathon, with each participant potentially eligible for numerous freebies and discounts after crossing the finish line. Even dedicated supporters could receive unexpected rewards for their tireless cheering from the sidelines.
A record-breaking 1,133,813 people applied for a place in this year's event, ranging from elite athletes to celebrities, politicians, and recreational runners, the vast majority running for charitable causes. The 26.2-mile course starts at Blackheath and Greenwich before finishing on The Mall in central London, with many businesses along the route offering complimentary treats.

Vidavii on South Molton Street offers a £50 discount to all London Marathon participants for their wellness circuit to aid post-race recovery. The offer is valid until May 1st; runners can use the code GIFT50 online or visit the store in person with their medal.
City Cruises gives away a complimentary signature sightseeing cruise along the Thames to anyone presenting their medal or registration confirmation email at City Cruises ticket offices on Sunday, April 26, or Monday, April 27. The cruise passes many of London's iconic landmarks that runners dashed past during the race. Runners can also redeem their freebie online using the voucher code marathonfree.
Peloton Studios London offers complimentary medal engraving featuring the runner's name or finishing time, along with a 40% discount on Peloton Apparel for those who completed the marathon.
Lush branches at Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Victoria, and Paddington stations will hand out free post-run recovery goodies to runners who present their 2026 medal to a staff member on Sunday, while stocks last. The giveaway includes marathon-exclusive Ouchy magnesium massage balms and The Good Hour shower jelly. The balm has anti-inflammatory properties and was created by Lush co-founder Helen Ambrosen, herself a 35-time marathon runner.
TALA's Carnaby Street store has an in-store activation running until Monday, May 3. However, certain offerings are exclusive to marathon day, April 26, including in-store calf massages by Grown Alchemist and post-run coffee by Kiss The Hippo for those presenting their medal or registration form.
Sexual wellness brand LELO has a distinctive offer reserved solely for runners who finish in the last 1% of completers. Those meeting this criterion can submit their finishing position by emailing coming.last@lelo.com to enter a prize draw to win one of the luxury brand's products in recognition of their endurance and perseverance.
Drink
While the 2026 marathon is anticipated to be marginally cooler than last year, staying hydrated remains essential for runners, including during post-marathon festivities. Numerous London pubs will offer complimentary pints to runners who show their medals.
All Castle Pubs across London will hand out a complimentary pint of Camden Hells to runners who present their medals after the race. There are 29 venues in Central London, including several along the marathon route such as The Railway Lee at Blackheath or Spaniards in Hampstead.
All Bar One at the Tower of London also offers a free Limoncello Spritz to runners who show their medals.
Miznon in Soho welcomes runners for a post-marathon ritual dubbed Sweat, Dip, Sip. Runners who provide proof of their run can enjoy free hummus and a cold beer.

Pastaio in Soho offers medal holders a complimentary plate of pasta (excluding their lobster linguine) on race day to help replenish energy.
Farmer J's offers 50% off Fieldtrays for runners who present their medals at the tills of their Piccadilly and Regent Street farms. The Marylebone store also offers £5 Fieldbowls to runners on Sunday when they show their medals.
For supporters
Friends and family lining the route for hours to boost morale will also be rewarded for their dedication. City Cruises offers 30% off for London Marathon supporters when booking online using the code marathon30.
Peloton Studios London treats supporters to complimentary coffee and sign-making from 9am on Sunday, ahead of the race. Supporters can then head to the Peloton Cheer Zone at mile 25 along Embankment.
Uber Eats and Boots have joined forces to launch a 'Supporter Survival Kit' priced at £10, with a reported value of £100. It contains everything supporters need on race day, including a Deep Tissue Massage Gun, sunscreen, Wellthy electrolytes, Grenade Bars, and sign-making materials.
