The masterminds behind north London's iconic burger at The Plimsoll and the trendy Iberian seafood spot Tollington's Fish Bar are now venturing into the world of pizza. Their latest project, named Bar Etna, will be located in the vibrant area of Newington Green.

Four Legs founder Ed McIlroy has joined forces with Philadelphia-based chef and restaurateur Joe Beddia, whose pizzas were once hailed as 'America's best' by the prestigious magazine Bon Apétit. Adding to the acclaim, Pizzeria Beddia received a Michelin Bib Gourmand award in 2025, underscoring its excellence in quality and value. This partnership marks a significant milestone, blending McIlroy's ingredient-focused philosophy with Beddia's signature pizza style.
What to Expect at Bar Etna
