Adam Thomas, the winner of I'm A Celebrity South Africa, has a home that is far more luxurious than the camp beds and hammocks of the jungle. The Waterloo Road star's Cheshire mansion, which he shares with his wife Caroline Daly and their two children, boasts features that rival Buckingham Palace.
From Rightmove Scroll to Dream Home
The couple purchased the property in 2017 after idly scrolling through houses on Rightmove one evening, with no intention of moving. Adam wrote on social media: 'Does anyone else go on Rightmove, flicking through houses you can't afford... thinking one day!! Well that's what me and @carolinethomas23 do but one day we decided to go and view one, with no intentions of actually buying it haha but we fell in love!!!!'
Luxurious Features
Caroline runs an Instagram account documenting the renovations, showcasing the transformation of the home over the years. Luxury features include his and hers sinks, floor-to-ceiling bay windows, twin Juliet balconies, and a piano. A cozy cinema room with a U-shaped cream sofa and olive green cushions surrounds a drop-down projector screen. The grand lobby features black and white chessboard flooring under a huge gold chandelier, later relocated to another room. The garden boasts a massive fountain leading to an orangery.
Minimalist Decor and Private Gym
The decor is minimalist with white, cream, brown, and beige tones, projecting quiet luxury. A private gym has his and hers exercise machines facing a sign that reads 'and they ran happily ever after'.
Family Life and Renovations
In 2021, Caroline wrote: 'Adam, Teddy, Bella and I have lived in our house since 22nd April 2017, we moved in the day before my birthday, in the middle of planning our wedding! We got married in August 2017, then weeks later found out we were pregnant with Elsie-Rose. 2017 was a chaotic year. It's only now we're really starting to finish our home and make it perfect for us.'
I'm A Celebrity Journey
Adam previously opened up about struggling on I'm A Celeb, saying he feels like a different person now. He clashed repeatedly with David Haye, who even Ant and Dec criticized. Addressing their arguments, he recalled: 'I said to my therapist, "Why didn't I stick up for myself?" and it was because I was always putting other people's feelings first.' David later apologized, but tensions remained. Jimmy Bullard accused Adam of being 'abusive, aggressive and intimidating' after leaving a trial. Despite this, Adam won and wrote a heartfelt post: 'I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way... It was not always easy, but I stayed true to myself.'
