The Telegraph has released its annual ranking of the 650 best pubs in the UK, featuring 44 establishments from London. The list includes 500 pubs from England and 150 from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, selected by a panel of experts based on criteria such as welcoming atmosphere, high-quality drinks, and a strong sense of community.
London's Top Pubs Highlighted
Among the London pubs recognized are several Time Out favorites, including the Coach & Horses on Greek Street in Soho, once home to London's self-proclaimed 'rudest landlord'. Today, the pub offers a rotating selection of independent ales and an impeccable crisp selection. The Pembury Tavern in Hackney, known for its Ace Pizza, and the unpretentious Southampton Arms in Gospel Oak, famous for pork baps and real ales, also made the cut.
