The pair, who famously played Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, were last seen together on screen in July 2011 with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two. While both participated in the Return to Hogwarts anniversary special in January 2022, this marked a rare in-person public appearance together since their wizarding days ended. Felton, 38, attended the event at the Hudson Theatre to support Radcliffe, 36, beaming for photos in a camel overcoat and cream sweater, while Radcliffe opted for a denim jacket and looked visibly delighted by the gesture.
From Hogwarts to Broadway and Beyond
The screening celebrated the upcoming cinema release of Merrily We Roll Along, which hits US screens this Friday. Radcliffe won a Tony Award for his role as Charley Kringas in the Stephen Sondheim musical. Interestingly, Felton is now following a similar path, having recently made his Broadway debut. He is currently thrilling audiences at the Lyric Theatre in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, reprising his role as an adult Draco Malfoy. His involvement has proven lucrative, with the show breaking records by raking in $2.973 million for the week beginning November 17.
Parallel Paths on the Stage
The two actors' careers will continue to run parallel on Broadway in the coming months. Felton's run in The Cursed Child is scheduled through to May 10, 2026. Radcliffe will then join him on the New York stage, with previews for his ambitious solo show, Every Brilliant Thing, starting on February 21, 2026 and running until May 24. This means the former Hogwarts students will overlap on Broadway for several months, a fact that is sure to excite their legions of fans.
