PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this December as one of the most celebrated video games of all time rides onto the service. Rockstar Games' iconic western adventure Red Dead Redemption will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra members starting December 2.

Red Dead Redemption's reputation as a gaming masterpiece is well-earned. The title achieved an impressive 95/100 score on MetaCritic, with the lowest professional rating being a still-remarkable 8/10.
Upon its original release, IGN described it as a 'must-play' and 'one of the deepest, most fun, and most gorgeous games around,' while Eurogamer crowned it 'a blockbuster video game.'
The praise extends beyond professional critics to everyday players.
