Ignoring all caution, Ravi plunged headfirst into the criminal underworld, establishing a drug ring that brought violence and fear to Albert Square. His operations grew increasingly sinister as he brought dangerous lieutenant Okie Okyere onto the scene, ensnared Harry Mitchell into his scheme, and began cuckooing vulnerable resident Kojo Asare.

Ravi's criminal empire began crumbling when Harry and Kojo managed to escape Okie's brutal captivity. Having endured imprisonment and forced drug consumption, the pair bravely went to the police and revealed everything about Ravi's role as the syndicate's leader.
