Hyde Park Winter Wonderland has officially opened its gates for the 2025 season, transforming central London into a sprawling festive paradise. The beloved attraction is once again packed with over 60 food and drink stalls, offering a global culinary journey from New York pizza and Caribbean curries to classic German bratwurst and indulgent cheese fondue.
A Guide to Food and Drink Costs
Visiting this Christmas market on an empty stomach is not recommended, but what is the real cost of indulging? Prices have already been released by several vendors, giving visitors a clear idea of what to budget.
At the Apres Ski Party Funhouse, a regular bratwurst bap will set you back £8. For those wanting something extra, cheese-filled or spicy sausage options cost £9, while a 'currywurst' is also priced at £9. Toppings are an additional expense, with roasted onions or cheese sauce costing £2 and jalapenos priced at £1.
Over at the Bavarian Village, the drink menu reveals a 175ml glass of wine—red, white, or rosé—costs £9.50. For a more decadent warm-up, a hot chocolate with cream and a shot of Baileys comes to a substantial £11.50.
Budget-Friendly Options and Alcohol Prices
It's not all premium pricing, however. The Bavarian Village also offers a deluxe hot chocolate for £3.70 without cream, a regular cup of tea for £2.50, and coffee for £3.30. Soft drink cans are £2.90, and a classic mulled wine is priced at £7.40.
Alcoholic drinks are broadly in line with typical London venue prices. A pint of Bavarian beer is £7.90, a Jaeger bomb is £8.95, and servings of Bailey's or Tequila Rose cost £5.95. Spirit shots start at £8.25 for a single, rising to £11.50 for a double. A 500ml Rekorderlig cider is £7.30, and a coffee with brandy, bourbon, or Bailey's is £9.50.
New Packages and Practical Information for 2025
Winter Wonderland has introduced four new Packages for 2025, allowing guests to customise their visit with added extras like ride credits, fast-track entry, and discounts on food.
Entry is free during off-peak times, with peak tickets costing up to £7.50. The entry fee is waived for anyone who spends £25 or more on advance online bookings.
The event is open from Friday, 14th November 2025, to Thursday, 1st January 2026. However, opening hours vary on some days, with later starts on specific mornings. The attraction will be closed entirely on Tuesday 18th November, Monday 24th November, Tuesday 25th November, and Christmas Day.
Foodies have a new reason to visit with the return of Le Chalet, which is offering a reimagined "FUNdue" menu featuring items like tater tots and flat iron steak skewers for dipping. Guests can also experience the chilling atmosphere of Bar Ice, where even the glasses are carved from ice.
