Three of the UK's most celebrated music acts are set to headline a major culinary and music event next summer. The Big Feastival has confirmed that Basement Jaxx, The Streets and Bastille will be the star performers for its 2026 edition.
This announcement marks the first wave of acts for the festival's 15th anniversary, which will once again take place across the August Bank Holiday Weekend on Blur bassist Alex James's farm in the Cotswolds.
Star-Studded Lineup for a Milestone Year
The festival, renowned for its unique blend of live music and fine food, is pulling out all the stops for its 15th year. The event will see Alex James throw open the gates to his picturesque Cotswolds farm for a weekend of top-tier entertainment and gastronomic delights.
Kicking off the festivities on Friday will be dance music pioneers Basement Jaxx. The multi-award-winning duo, known for anthems like 'Where's Your Head At' and 'Romeo', helped define the British dance scene. Their accolades include a GRAMMY Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album for 'Kish Kash' and two BRIT Awards for Best British Dance Act.
A Weekend of Iconic Performances
On Saturday, the spotlight turns to The Streets, the project of masterful storyteller Mike Skinner. In a special performance, Skinner will treat fans to a complete play-through of his seminal 2004 concept album, 'A Grand Don't Come for Free'. The album, a 'rap opera' that peaked at Number 1 on the UK Album Charts and achieved 4x Platinum status, includes iconic tracks like 'Fit But You Know It' and 'Dry Your Eyes'.
Bringing the weekend to a powerful close on Sunday will be indie-pop giants Bastille. Led by Dan Smith, the band is famed for their huge, singalong choruses. Their breakthrough hit, 'Pompeii', reached Number 2 in the UK and Number 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Their debut album, 'Bad Blood', debuted at Number 1 and was nominated for British Album of the Year at the BRIT Awards.
